The YAGADAWANA.

I think that in today's world (as is opposed to yesterdays) most people young or old do not have the Yagadawana. I haven't always had the Yagadawana and the amount of Yagadawana I have has increased or decreased with a given situation.I have observed, however that some people have never had the Yagadawana. Some take steps to insure they never catch it and many don't want it.

Yagadawana work for a living, Yagadawana get along with others, live responsibly, pay your debts, protect your country,honor G-D and get off your donkey.

I got Yagadawana from my Parents and was given additional doses by Teachers,Pastors,Drill Instructors and others.Some make a special effort to avoid Yagadawana or the opportunity to use it if they possess it for example ;
A- Many body piercings in obvious places,eyes, ears,nose,lips etc.(I have a pierced left ear this was done in Vietnam as a ritual and I seldom wear one now, definitely not when JOB hunting.,a youthful indiscretion-I do allow for those)
B- Tattoos is places which are obvious, face, neck, lower arms and legs-(I am not opposed to tattoos, I have some, as does my spouse, I think small discreet, symbolic ones can and are attractive, I have many dear friends in the "Biker" community, who are wonderful people. A little art is cool, but looking like the Sistine Chapel painted by Picasso is counter productive.) C- Attitude - is everything- I almost constantly hear "People just wont give me a chance, my boss is a jerk,they owe it to me, everybody does it" .and other self-abasing statements.Attitudes like " I just hate N******, J****, H******, S****,Q*****," and a myriad of other ethnic, racial and other stereotypical slurs.

"I don't agree with this war" as an excuse not to serve their country ( I don't agree with any war,but it is often a thing that cannot be avoided, just read world history.)

"I won't go to church because they are full of hypocrites" - this in it's self is hypocritical, you considering that you, yourself are better than they are., You can go to church with them or to hell with them. Churches are hospitals for sinners not museums for saints.Every church is full of sinners, we just call one of them Pastor. Too repeat my self "Sitting in church doesn't make you a christian anymore than standing in a garage makes you a car."

"I did not finish school"- they still have them, "I don't have a car"-Taxi, bus, hitchhike, walk and help the environment. "They only want certain kinds of people", yea, ones who show up on time, work when they get there and don't have a S****y attitude.

Responsible people, intelligent people, wise people, let's have a telethon and get people to contribute or apply for a government grant to provide Yagadawana for as many people as we can.

Whether it be by a swat on the butt, a kick in the pants, a knot on the head or good counsel and tuff love, please give from your heart and head today.

Let us hope and pray for a epidemic of YAGADAWANA !
