There are currently several missing children we are hearing about in the news, tragically most turn up deceased within days or months. While these incidents are horrible and anyone who harms a child should be punished severally, the real issue in our society are the thousands who while alive are still missing.
I am not talking about runaways or kidnapped or abandon children, again while this has become epidemic in this society I am concerned about those who live at home and are yet "missing".These children often become the victums or perpetrators in crimes we have listed.
Many are involved in finding and protecting those described above. I want to express concern for those who may live in "normal" two parent homes, who are well fed and privileged, yet are "MISSING". They spend the day in school or wherever and the rest of the evening and night in their rooms. I know parents who have no idea when their children come and go and would not realize if they were physically absent and they are assuredly emotionally absent.
Many parents have their children so involved in "activities" that they have little time for family, driving back and forth to dance, voice, scouts, soccer,baseball etc.does not qualify as QUALITY time.
GIVE THEM TODAY SOMETHING TODAY THEY CANNOT BUY TOMORROW.
