THE SKY IS FALLING !

     I have written blogs along these lines previously , it just gets worse. THE SKY IS NOT FALLING [granted recently something has fallen from it] There is a certain element or portion of the populace who are immediately prepared to beleive the worst.The world today is a frightening place as it has always been, can you imagine the first sighting of a tree catching on fire from lightning [ run, the sky wants to kill us] or Noah's neighbors when the ditches began to fill with water ?
      Many people today are just waiting to be scared, it gives them reason to act erratically and foolishly. My wife's name is Beebe and she loves birds, should we make a pilgrimage to North East Arkansas, my son plays drums and likes fish should he make a pilgrimage to North West Arkansas . These "fish kills" and "bird drops" are nothing more than naturally occurring phenomena which occur everyday all over the world.       Mixing a little truth with lies often makes the whole story believable. Fox News, Alex Jones and others of that ilk count on peoples vulnerability, naivety and even stupidity to build a story, increase viewer./listener ship
and make a buck. It has become evident that they play on our fears.
     We are pushed and prodded in to believing that every black is a welfare cheat, every Arab a terrorist and every Mexican an illegal.  
    There are problems to confront and solve but as long as we are worried about being beaned by a black bird we can't look for or fix them.
