My youngest Son and his Wife just bought their first home. I am proud for them and of them, they took their time and got a good deal. They considered building, looked for land, etc.even thought about a "modular home". They made a good decision and found a nice 3/2 with carport and a shop building with heat and ac in it. It is a few years old, recently remodeled and in a good neighborhood.
Our family likes to cook so the Kitchen is a very important room.We like our work area to almost mirror a professional kitchen so a stainless steel kitchen-sink was a must. Another issue was that EVERYTHING had to match, they spend lots of time,and occasionally money in home improvement stores and appliance showrooms.
They looked on line and found what they wanted, electric for baking with a gas range top, this was a beauty I invited my self over to cook and EAT.
Now that you have the biggest stove I have ever seen, a nice sink in which to clean up the mess what do you do with the leftovers. The right refrigerator was the next item to find, lots of room, freezer on the bottom, french doors so the kids can get their drinks easy and in order to be environmentally friendly it had to be an energy saver. Ice and water in the door, who could want for more, were having Prime Rib, where is my BIB !
